Edgar Torronteras And The Incredible Whip

At the recent Supercross Bercy show in Paris, Spaniard Edgar Torrenteras pulled off a whip so awesome he almost when upside-down. Shame that the commentators were far too busy talking among themselves to acknowledge such and incredible freestyle feat...

Nitro Circus 3D Movie Premiere and Guinness World Record

Its been one heck of a wait, but last night (28th Feb) finally saw the Nitro Circus 3D movie make its way to European shores. Travis Pastrana and the Nitro crews latest production took to centre stage months ago in the USA, but weve had wait a little longer for it in the UK. The premiere took place at Londons O2, with a Guinness World Record attempt (most riders completing a backflip at one time) taking place before the start of the film, which was in turn broadcast across the UK.

First things first.. neither disappointed! Starting with the stunt, it was quite frankly incredible. They ended up having 16 riders flying through the air (at some stage of a backflip), which was a new world record. Gregg Godfrey and Jeremy Rawle hosted the event, who both seemed super excited theyd finally got the movie onto UK screens.

Having watched trailers, looked at images and heard stories we already had a rough idea of the stunts and tricks involved in the film, so nothing was a major shock. They loosely portrayed the film as a journey on the road to Nitro Circus Live in Las Vegas, with stops in Utah, Maryland (TPs house) and Panama. With narrative from guys involved in the production and some huge names in the action sports world (Ken Block and Rob Dyrdek) it all came together really well, and made for awesome viewing.

If you get the chance to watch the film at the flicks, do it. Some of the section are incredible in 3D and it really makes you appreciate the enormity of the stunts!

FMX And Drifting At The Qatar Motorshow

Is it always party time in these Arab states? It certainly seems like they know how to have a good time. Of course, it helps that the Qatar Motorshow was in town, bringing along Red Bull and their talented collection of Freestyle and Rally athletes.

In particular, the rather lovely Burcu Cetinkaya - a female rally driver from Turkey who we might have fallen in love with a little bit. So, as a bonus, check out this video below of Burcu in action behind the wheel. 

Dirt Jumping With Lacondeguy Sherwy Willow and Topo

Few things help us get through a morning like a good dirt jump video. The other is coffee strong enough to peel the enamel from your teeth but we cant help with that one. So, take a look at some slow motion action at La Poma bike park in Barcelona from Andreu Lacondeguy, Sherwy Pasamote, Willow and Topo. 

Although we enjoy the euphoric chillout soundtrack, happily this also satisfies our increasing obsession for artistic track-watering footage - something we have come to demand from almost every dirt jump video.
